生活型

形態特徵

  • An evergreen tree.
  • Leaves thinly coriaceous, glabrous, oblong-ovate, 8–15 cm long, 4–5 cm wide, acute, broadly acute at apex, the lateral veins 6–8 per side, indistinct above, slender and raised beneath; petioles to 1 cm long. Inflorescence a many-Flowered raceme, about 3 cm long, slightly pubescent;
  • Flowers about 1 cm across; pedicels short, 2–3 mm long; calyx-tube oblong-oval, slightly pubescent outside; petals broadly ovate; stamens with filaments dilated and connate at base; styles short, rigid.
  • Fruits oblong-ovate, about 8 mm thick.

分布

  • 台灣 : in broad-Leaved forests at altitudes around 1,000 m.
  • 世界 : China, the Ryukyus, and southern Japan.
